I’ve been taking these tablets for about a week and a half now to help me lose weight. theyve been working really well so far, but yesteerday I noticed a strange itchy rash on my hands, elbows and soles of my feet. I did some research and it looks a bit like hives, has anyone else experienced this or know how to treat it? I really dont want to stop taking the pills unless I really have to because it’s working really well for me. Thanks!
Lipodrene with ephedra – is this an allergic reaction?

What you are describing looks like an allergic reaction. It could be from the pills or maybe something that you ate recently. It doesn’t matter whether this happens to other people or not if it is happening to you. Allergies are specific to each individual.
You have three choices – keep taking the pills and see if the allergies go away on their own; stop taking the pills and see if it helps; or take the pills along with an antihistamine. Taking an antihistamine along with this type of product may reduce the allergies, but it can substantially increase your blood pressure.
The pills are not necessarily the cause of your allergies. The pattern of the hives looks like it could be from something you are eating (pills or food), but it could also be caused by skin irritation.
Side effects of ephedra may include severe skin reactions, irritability, nervousness, dizziness, trembling, headache, insomnia, profuse perspiration, dehydration, itchy scalp and skin, vomiting, hyperthermia, irregular heartbeat, seizures, heart attack, stroke, or death.
Sound good?
You are risking your health with this unapproved dietary supplement. This is not an approved weight loss drug – it is an unapproved dietary supplement. Huge difference.
The FDA banned any product containing true ephedra in 2003 due to many deaths. Your Lipodrene contains leaves from some type of ephedra plant like Mormon tea. No real value but it sounds good.
I thought ephedra was banned in the US.
Stop taking the ephedra. There is a reason it was banned – because of the side effects
